Response to "Iranians and Media Coverage of the War in Iraq..."

In regards to the reading “Iranians and Media Coverage of the War in Iraq: Rhetoric, Propaganda, and Contradiction,” I was extremely appalled to learn of Saddam’s atrocities in Iran. I was further intrigued by the complexity surrounding Iran’s dual & paradoxical foreign policy towards Iraq. While I am against the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein, I agree with Iranian conservatives in regards to their fear of destabilization in the Middle East. Since the Iraqi invasion, my family in Pakistan has a growing uncertainty for their country’s future. The Pakistani government itself is already very unstable. Today, with the war now at Pakistan’s doorstep, the future seems very bleak. Overall, the passage had me thinking from a different perspective. Rather than seeing the war from an American or Pakistani point of view, it was extremely refreshing to see what the situation is like in the countries actively dealing with the pandemonium.

Questions

1. Can someone clarify the confusion between "You are required to submit your work on Monday and Thursday" and "You will upload your work on Tuesday and Thursday to breakdown the week’s workload into a manageable schedule. You are expected to submit all required homework by 12.00 midnight (Eastern Standard Time) of the day that it is due (unless otherwise noted). All major assignments are due by 8.00 a.m."?

I'm thinking that we are suppose to submit our work by Tuesday and Thursday Night by 11:59pm before midnight happens. I believe the sentence saying our work is due Monday and Thursday was suppose to say work is due Tuesday and Thursday.

2. Also if general assignments are due by 11:59pm on Tuesday and Thursday, are major assignments due before 8am on that same Tuesday and Thursday as well?

Hopefully we can get some clarification regarding assignments!
